Dr. Faye Beckett is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor, a Licensed Christian Counselor, and a Certified Temperament Counselor. Faye has 29 years of experience working within the mental health, church and school settings. Faye has an overwhelming interest in the following areas: identification of God given temperaments, relationship counseling (related to couples and families), and recovery from the devastating effects of divorce and/or from extra marital affairs. All counseling is with the recognition that there is only One True Counselor (The Holy Spirit), therefore recovery must be based on Biblical principles and approached with confidentiality and bathed in prayed from both the counselor and the counselees.
In October of 2013, Faye took over the responsibilities of Congregational Care of our Shut-in members. Faye oversees the visitation of members who are homebound or in nursing homes the training of members who seek to find their place in this ministry.
Although Dr. Beckett grew up in Memphis she is a long time resident of Covington where she lives with her husband Earl.
