Janet Kinney

A native Memphian, Janet Kinney attended Briarcrest Christian School, where she was involved in the choir and band. She received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. After embarking on a career in education, she earned Masters of Education and Educational Specialist degrees from Union University. She has been teaching music in the greater Memphis area for fourteen years. She comes from a family of church musicians, and enjoys serving in a church that values the importance of music in their service each week.
